Join us in welcoming new trustees to our Board of Directors! Deidre (Dee) Briegel, Jane Otrhalek, and Dwight Vines are champions of Muskegon County and bring with them a long list of experience, connection, and commitment to this community.
The Community Foundation designed Strategic Leadership Grants to support projects and programs related to our three strategic focus areas: education; community and economic development; and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Whether it’s supporting access to healthy food, a welcoming neighborhood, community dialogue for healing and justice, workforce stability or active youth, these programs help to address the challenges and opportunities here in Muskegon County.
Howmet Aerospace Foundation is taking part in the preservation and renovation of the Frauenthal Theater through a $250,000 grant to the Frauenthal Preservation Campaign Fund, an effort spearheaded by local leaders and the Community Foundation for Muskegon County.
Moxie the mastodon and her babies are whimsical and fun, but they also provide a very real chance for us to pause and connect with our history, to remember that we are one small chapter in a story filled with the people, creatures and places that have existed before us—and the ones that will exist after us.
